Once again this year we are asking for your company's support of the Area II Adult Riders programs' fifth annual Training Three Day Event, to be held Oct. 22-26 at Waredaca Farm, Laytonsville, MD. It's national scope and educational format makes it totally unique in the world of eventing!
We expect up to 100 competitors, but they are competing over four days and bring with them two to four supporting grooms, friends, coaches and parents. In addition, Waredaca Horse Trials takes place over the subsequent weekend, and brings in 1,000 associated people.
We have a printed program available with a full page add space for
contributors of $250 and up. We accept cash, donations of products with retail value from $100 on up, samples for distribution to our riders and grooms, or any other supporting effort that your company can provide.
Do not forget that the mission of the training three day event is to
educate, and one of our very best attributes is the wonderful support we get from volunteers, and some of the volunteers will read like Who's Who in eventing: Olympic Gold Medalists, Pan Am Gold Medalists, USET riders past and present, WEG riders, and upper level riders who competeat the international and national levels. These top level competitors give freely of their time to assist the lower level riders in learning about the sport, and we are fortunate to have them attend! In the past Jimmy Wofford, Karen O'Connor, John Williams, Phyllis Dawson, Stephen Bradley, Jan Byyny, and many other top riders have assisted us.
